Join us on Tuesday, April 9th 2019 to celebrate our 25th birthday!! At each of our 14 Ability Center locations, we will host a party from 10am – 3pm.  Fun and food will be dished out and prizes will be raffled.  Stop by for a few minutes or stay for the day…RSVP below.

We couldn’t have made it 25 years if it weren’t for our employees, customers and the wonderful communities we serve.  From one store in San Diego to 14 stores throughout 14 Western States, we have a lot to celebrate and we hope you can join us on April 9th, 2019.

What is IDOA? A day dedicated to social acceptance of disability and to honor the late Annie Hopkins, founder of 3E Love and creator of the International Symbol of Acceptance. What is acceptance? Acceptance is created from an Empowered movement that Educates others to Embrace diversity and Love Life by seeing beyond abilities.

February 22 – 24, 2019 the Los Angeles Abilities Expo will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. For nearly 40 years, the Abilities Expo has been the go-to source for the Community of people with disabilities, their families, seniors, veterans and healthcare professionals. Every event opens your eyes to new technologies, new possibilities, new solutions and new opportunities to change your life.

Each year, all Ability Center locations open our doors and hearts in appreciation of all of our honored Veterans. We want to show our appreciation for our men and women of the United States Armed Forces by holding an annual Veteran Appreciation Day. The 2019 date is Wednesday, November 11th.

Join us in San Mateo, CA for the annual Abilities Expo. The 2019 Expo will be held at the San Mateo County Event Center from October 25-27, 2019. The expo hall showcases the latest and greatest products and services available to the disabled communities. Touch and feel new products from innovative wheelchairs, accessible vans, accessible sail boats, etc.  Workshops from safety, affordable housing and disability benefits are held. It’s free to attend and you can register online.
