San Diego, Ca., July 29, 2010: BraunAbility announces two wheelchair accessible vans now available, the 2011 Toyota Sienna Rampvan XT and the 2010 Honda Odyssey Entervan, at the Ability Center.

“Braun will be utilizing new technology from the ground up on both the Toyota Sienna and the Honda Odyssey,” Justin White, BraunAbility Area Sales Manager said. “We are implementing lots of features that we used when we launched the new 2008 Dodge/Chrysler body style. Streamlining technology will help in the manufacturing process as well as servicing the products at the dealer level.”

The 2011 Toyota Sienna BraunAbility Rampvan XT conversion adds interior space and maneuverability to excellent quality, design and comfort of this minivan. This is the first major body style change since the inception of the Sienna in 2004. Braun has been working on the new chassis since late 2009.

“There has been a lot of ‘buzz’ around the 2011 Toyota body style change and I think it will do really well,” Chad Blake, Ability Center Corporate Sales Manager said. “Then the fact that Braun now has a Honda is a big step for them in their efforts to extend the product line.”

With the introduction of the 2010 Honda Odyssesy Entervan, Braun now offers a lowered floor conversion on each of the three most popular minivans on the market. The Odyssey has always been known for its aerodynamic styling, impressive interior options and outstanding reliability and comfort-the BraunAbility conversion gives wheelchair users “access” to this perennial favorite on the market.

Both the Toyota Sienna Rampvan XT and the Honda Odyssey Entervan feature an automatic door and side-entry ramp, as well as a lowered floor that includes three wheelchair securement options. A gentle ramp slope and ample sliding door height (56″ for the Rampvan, over 54″ for the Entervan) make this a friendlier conversion.

The accessible handicap vans are available at BraunAbility dealerships across the country. BraunAbility offers over 200 convenient locations nationwide.
