If you’re a veteran who has served our country, you’re eligible for benefits to make your life easier. This includes a more affordable path to owning an accessible vehicle. Wheelchair van financing is just one way your local Ability Center dealer is here to help you achieve mobility independence. Learn how we support veterans to help you find the perfect accessible vehicle that serves you.
Ability Center Supports Veterans
Veterans of all service levels qualify for varying degrees of assistance to purchase a wheelchair van and any accompanying mobility equipment they need and deserve. Your local Ability Center dealer has years of experience helping men and women just like you apply for and receive wheelchair van financing through the Veterans Administration (VA).
Utilizing the VA’s 4502 Grant or the 1394 Grant, we communicate with the VA and other organizations on your behalf to help you achieve your mobility goals quickly and affordably. Through the VA, you’ll be able to receive auto allowances that include adaptive equipment and accessible vehicles to help you get back on the road.
When you purchase a wheelchair van from Ability Center, you can rest assured that you will find the perfect vehicle for your needs. We make sure that every purchase you make with us is the most economically feasible for your wallet while still matching your mobility requirements. It will even come with a full factory warranty — and six months of free inspections through our Guardian Program — so you can concentrate on the next big adventure ahead.
Wheelchair Van Financing
At Ability Center, we take the hard work out of financing your next accessible van and mobility equipment. Your local Ability Center dealer offers wheelchair van financing and advice on the rates, terms, manufacturer offers, factory incentives and more. Contact a Mobility Specialist today to learn more about our Veterans Program and help you drive away in a car that meets all your needs.
Another opportunity to reduce costs is through the VA’s Automobile Adaptive Equipment (AAE) program. This program covers two vehicle modifications within a 4-year period for service-connected veterans. If you are a non-service connected veteran, the AAE program will cover equipment or modifications to help you get in and out of your vehicle.
Free Mobility Inspections in November
Veterans make up a significant portion of our customer base and are always at the forefront of our minds and hearts on Veterans Day. Traditionally, we host an annual Veterans Appreciation Day at all of our locations to honor those who have served. Due to CDC recommendations, we didn’t feel it was safe to host a large gathering at our facilities.
So, how are we celebrating our veterans this year? For the month of November, Ability Center will be offering all of our customers a free Guardian Inspection on their mobility equipment. This is a $150 value — our thanks to you! Whether you have a wheelchair van, driving aids, or other mobility equipment, we’ll perform a thorough inspection to ensure that it is safe and functioning as it should.
To receive your free Guardian Inspection, schedule an appointment with a Mobility Specialist and mention the “Free Guardian Service.” You can also request an appointment online — be sure to include the promotion code “MEI2020” or “Free Mobility Equipment Inspection” in the field labeled “Brief Description of the Problem.” Keep in mind this offer is only valid on wheelchair lifts, scooter lifts, assist seats, wheelchair vans, and hand controls.
Wheelchair van financing is just one of the ways Ability Center supports veterans as they search for mobility independence. If you are ready to buy a wheelchair van, reach out to your local Ability Center dealer. Our team of Mobility Specialists is available in all 15 of our locations across the country, ready to help you find the perfect vehicle for your needs.
