The Hope and Freedom Award
The Hope and Freedom Award was created to recognize outstanding individuals who have dedicated their time and resources to improving the quality of life by providing mobility equipment to those in need.

The first award was presented to Jeri and Rick Crawford of Las Vegas, Nevada on December 8th, 2006. The Crawford's purchased a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country With a Braun fold-out conversion, hand controls and a series of driving instructions for Abigail Johnson. Up until just a few months ago, Abigail had not considered driving any vehicle. The accessible vehicle has given a renewed hope and the opportunity to attend college and be more self-sufficient.

Rick Crawford is the President and Founder of Green Valley Grocery, Crawford Oil, Inc. and Crawford Coin, Inc. Both Jeri and Rick Crawford are active in numerous civic and charitable organizations. Rick currently serves as Immediate Past President of the Southern Nevada YMCA and Jeri is on the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Symphony. The generous hearts have changed Abigail Johnson's life forever.
